Ido is a Partner at TLcom Capital, based in London. He represents the firm on the boards of Ilara Health, Littlefish, uLesson and Zone.
Before TLcom, Ido was co-founder and Managing Director of Airlines WiMAX Communication, a mobile broadband operator based in East Africa. Earlier in his career, he led a consulting business focused on web start-ups and incubators in Israel and served as a Business Development Manager at TMT, Israel’s largest interactive television company. Early on in his career, Ido interned at Qualcomm, contributing to its emerging markets strategy with a focus on Africa and the Middle East.
Ido has been actively engaged in social entrepreneurship for over 20 years, founding three non-profits: NOVA, Israel’s largest strategic consulting service for the social sector; re:Motion, which won the Global Social Venture Competition award in 2010; and HydeRate, an innovative solution for water financing in developing markets. He also mentors technology entrepreneurs in Africa, Israel, and Palestine.
Ido holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
